Legacy Contributes to Area Non-Profits in Celebration of the Haydenville Branch

Pittsfield, MA – In recognition of the opening of Legacy Banks’ branch office in Haydenville, Mass., The Legacy Banks Foundation has awarded grants to non-profit organization serving the area. Those receiving grants include:

• Hilltown Community Development Corporation to support their affordable housing / first time home buyers program and small business lending program
• Davenport Child Care, Inc. to support operations of the Child Care Program
• Camp Howe for Camperships

According to Richard Sullivan, president of The Legacy Banks Foundation, “These grants represent our commitment to the community as we expand into the Pioneer Valley with this first branch office. The Foundation has a long history of supporting area non-profit organizations meeting the needs of our community, and we look forward to continuing this philanthropic philosophy in our Haydenville service area.”

Headquartered in Pittsfield, Mass., Legacy Banks recently completed the acquisition of the Haydenville office on Main Street.
