Kim Mathews brings more than 13 years of experience to her role as general counsel at Legacy Banks. The majority of her professional experience has been in Berkshire County, coming from Developer Finance Corporation in 2006 where she served as vice president and general counsel since 2001. Prior to that, she served in a similar capacity with Litchfield Financial Corp. /Textron Financial Corp. Mathews holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of New Hampshire. She serves on the board of directors of the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts, the school board at St. Agnes School in Dalton, MA, the parish council and finance committee at St. Charles Church in Pittsfield, MA, and also as the treasurer of the Elizabeth Freeman center board of directors.
